Jalapeño margaritas followed by calamari app with warm bread served with a roasted eggplant spread. For the entree, the Argentinian beef tenderloin with the most amazing sauce. Dessert did not disappoint. This restaurant is a must visit in Isla Mujeres. Bravo!!!

Every…I had the pleasure of eating dinner here tonight with my best friends on our girls trip. It was so good, I had to kiss the chef. Every course was spectacular. The grilled octopus was my favorite starter and my entree, the lobster tail with orange butter and pea risotto were both so delicious, omg. To finish, my friend Jo ordered ice cream. This was the best ice cream I have ever had. It was homemade, some kind of Carmel flavor, velvety as can be, with crunchy deliciousness in it and topped with this honey comb thing, soooo good! The ambiance was so cool, great vibe. The staff were so wonderful and helpful. I wish I could give it 10 stars.

Yes, the atmosphere is nice and the service was very good. The 3 of us ordered the fish entree of the day (red snapper). The edge of the fish was seared too much and was hard to cut through. It came with a good portion of mashed potatoes and that's it. They should consider adding a few cut up vegetables to make less boring. The homemade bread was very good with the marinated eggplant condiment. A little too pricey for what you get.
This place is a beautiful find hole in the wall unsuspecting lil paradise… with a slight view through trees of lagoon. And I’ll say on the edge of the ghetto.

When you walk in you are warmly greeted, the ambiance, energy and decor are On Point..
Fresh Homemade Bread was delicious we asked for more.
This place is capable of serving many, however I think due to their location they have very low traffic as evident by many reviews.
I was excited to go day before my birthday.
I came in with my wife and baby.
We were the only table.
My wife was not hungry and we do not drink alcohol, so when I only ordered one plate they seemed disgusted, upset and disappointed.
I did end up ordering a $40usd lobster ravioli which had potential for greatness, but fell flat.
Lobster was slightly overcooked, nice pasta, sauce was kind of bland and tasteless..
I walked by the kitchen and saw they had more sauce in the pan… I am like.. POUR IT ON My Food.. haha
When they brought the second bread with slight hesitation and annoyance they did not bring anymore oil to dip.
Overall I’d say this was a let down for the price of the plate and the bummed out servers because they are bored and broke because the place ain’t busy..

From the passion fruit Sangria, to the gazpacho to the main course of red snapper over mashed potatoes with melted feta & sprinkled with capers, the artistry, presentation & taste was outstanding! Our server, Angel was attentive & did a great job as well. We’ve been here before, will return again & Fuego de Mar never disappoints!
