We were given some tortilla chips and bean paste etc for the table. We ordered a seafood platter and their special pork platter. I asked for some spicy salsa which was yum! The pork was very well marinated and tasted delicious. The seafood was okay, nothing special. The fresh tortillas were a treat! Overall it was a good experience. It's a good place for traditional Yucatan cuisine!

The festive atmosphere, excellent service and authentic flavors all make a memorable dining experience. It was nice touch to witness the tortillas made fresh on-site.

I really enjoyed the sopa de maya, it was creamy with a subtle spinach-like flavour. We also ordered there which included cochinita, queso relleno, pipian de pavo and Pavo en relleno negro. We weren’t fans of the queso relleno and probably would have preferred just ordering the cochinita as that was our favourite, although the relleno negro was also quite tasty. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Merida!
