This is criminal. I have had better 30 dollar steaks in the USA than this. For this price I expect incredibly tender, flavorful, and immaculate cuts of meat. What I got was crime on hot skillet. Okay let’s forget about the “steak.” There is a baked potato served with it with an ungodly amount of congealed flavorless cheese in it. Needs salt, needs flavor, needs anything to make me less upset about how much I paid for that unforgettable steak, I wish it was forgettable, but I can’t forget it, because of how scammed I was. DO NOT FALL FOR THE OTHER REVIEWS, they are not representative at all.I have attached a photo (that looks good, but do not be fooled by the picture, its not great at all) that was taken before I took one of the most disappointing bites of my life. I feel bad for the enamel I lost on my teeth chewing on it, and wish I was chewing on my friend’s salmon instead (which had a reasonable price and tasted good). 🦷 🐟 there are many better places in Tulum, go there.

It was the perfect spot for a holiday meal, and we were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the overall experience.
The arrachera was incredibly flavorful and grilled to perfection.
The salmon was equally well prepared—fresh, tender, and seasoned beautifully.
The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere that felt both festive and welcoming.
The staff and fellow diners created a warm, friendly environment that made our night special.
It's a great choice in Tulum for high-quality grilled dishes and a lively yet comfortable setting.

We ordered the arrachera 1kg and we shared it, and it was out of this world!
Our friends ordered the grilled octopus and it was amazing too, not chewy, perfectly seasoned. The food here is fantastic!
The service is exceptional as well, the staff was polite, knowledgeable and very fun and friendly.
Highly recommend!
We came here STARVING on our first night of our honeymoon. We are our weight in food and it was all incredible. The service was impeccable- thank you Ricardo! What I like about el Asadero is that the restaurant is clean, they have AC, it's a beautiful place. The food is good. We usually order the arrachera hamburger 🍔 and the arrachera fajitas. A baked potato in the side. The salsa are actually spicy and with a wide variety, which extra points for that. The staff is attentive and professional at all times. They have great desserts although we never have room for dessert because the portions of the main courses are so generous. What I like most besides the excellent service, the good quality food and clean facilities is the price. All of that plus two drinks for less than 700 pesos is a steal. I recommend it to anyone who wants a real dining experience without the pretentious prices in Tulum.
